Introduction of Product Source
The product extracted from the root bark of Ranunculaceae plant peony as raw material. The fruit is an aggregated fruit of 2 to 5 follicles, oval, green, and covered with short brown hairs. The original paeonol is gray-brown or yellowish-brown, with many horizontally long lenticels and fine root scars, and the cork is pink where the cork falls off; the scraped paeonol is pink or light red. Inner surface: light grayish-yellow or light brown, with obvious fine vertical lines, often shiny crystals. Born in sunny and fertile soil, often cultivated in gardens. Distributed in Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu and other places. It is cultivated all over the country.
